Shaun Morgan is excited to be a part of the John Adams Academy family. What excites him most about JAA is the consistency of the Ten Core Values and the truths that are taught by them. 

Having taught at four different schools, he has seen many different teaching styles and methods and has come to love the American Classical Leadership Education Model. 

Mr. Morgan deeply loves history, especially American history, and is an avid reader. His favorite classic novel is Animal Farm, as he loves the beauty of the metaphor and the clarity of its message. A poignant quote from the book is, "They had come to a time when no one dared speak his mind". This quote is the antithesis of his favorite quote from John Adams, "Let us dare to read, think, speak, and write." That is what he hopes to inspire scholars to do every day. 

When not teaching and reading classic literature you can find Mr. Morgan enjoying hiking, biking, frisbee, archery, and playing games with his family.
