Margaret Walker is excited to be engaging in teaching elementary Latin with John Adams Academy-Online scholars; diving into a the wonder of a language that is the foundation of all western languages. 

Mrs. Walker loves working with scholars of all ages—including parents.   Mrs. Walker believes that the best part of teaching online with JAA is that she can work with a school that aligns with her teaching philosophy even though she lives across the country.  

The last eight years her family has moved around the world due to her Husband’s career in the U.S. Army which has now brought them to New York state where she loves being so close to our nation’s founding history.  

She loves the classics and has an enduring passion for Shakespeare for all he shows us of human nature.  She also loves revisiting Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury whenever she needs to remember to wake up to the joy in life’s journey.  

When not teaching, you can find Mrs. Walker and her husband singing and reading with their four daughters.
