Ms. Kendra Lamboy is a John Adams Academy founding teacher who taught first grade for over a decade at the Roseville campus. She currently serves as a Mentor Teacher on the team that is tasked with ensuring the implementation of the Academy’s American Classical Leadership Education® model.
Ms. Lamboy is set to graduate in August 2023 from the University of Dallas obtaining a Master of Arts degree with an emphasis in Classical Education. Her concept of education has been transformed by her teaching at John Adams Academy and her ongoing scholarship at University of Dallas (“UD”). Her time at UD afforded her the opportunity to further develop a philosophy steeped in the pursuit of truth, virtue, and wisdom as education’s ultimate aim.
Ms. Lamboy grew up in Marin County, CA and currently resides in Sacramento with her husband of 26 years. Together they enjoy the leisure of study, the leisure of travel and the leisure of community. She loves fairies and he loves Tolkien. They are a match made in heaven.
