Ms. Brace currently mentors scholars in High School Chemistry and Physics. Ms. Brace has a love and passion for these subjects and looks forward to guiding scholars through the wonder and beauty of both and helping scholars enjoy and appreciate the truth we can understand through them.  

Kendra has five children, four of whom have already graduated and one who attends John Adams Academy. One of her favorite authors is C. S. Lewis who wrote one of her favorite books, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. She is inspired by the following quote from this classic, work; “What I mean is that I think chaps who set out like us will look as silly as – as those Dufflepuds – if we come home and say we got to the beginning of the world’s end and hadn’t the heart to go any further.” Rynelf, in C. This quote reminds her of the importance of not giving up in the face of the unknown, that the decision to keep going is a beautiful and worthy decision.
