Karalee has been with John Adams Academy since 2017 starting as a staff member at the El Dorado Hills campus and helping to establish a rich culture in that campus’ inaugural year.   She switched to the online program as an on-staff substitute teacher serving all grades in 2021 after having her first child. 

She has taught multiple grade levels and loves seeing the growth each scholar makes throughout the year. Karalee has developed a great love for classic literature and enjoys reading in her free time. 

She is excited about the new opportunities and adventures each year brings. Karalee believes in our American Classical Leadership Education; her favorite core value is Core Value #4 - “Scholar Empowered Learning” as she loves the concept that scholars oversee their own learning. Karalee loves mentoring scholars and helping them discover who they are destined to be while seeking truth, goodness, and beauty throughout each year.
