Heather Leamon came to the John Adams Academy Online program by way of earning a Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies K-8, a Master’s in Biology, and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instructional Design from Western Governors University. She is a passionate educator with over 15 years of classroom experience, devoted to classical education principles. With a strong belief in the transformative power of teaching, Heather strives to cultivate critical thinking skills and instill a love for learning in her students. A devoted admirer of classical literature, she draws inspiration from the works of C.S. Lewis, whose insights on faith, imagination, and human nature resonate deeply with her educational philosophy. Heather's mission is to train a generation of thoughtful, articulate, and compassionate individuals who will contribute positively to society, fostering a new wave of thinkers equipped to tackle the challenges of the future.
